“ My partner and I were exploring the streets of downtown Vancouver when Sashimiya caught our attention, so we decided to check it out. Best decision ever, this place is a hidden gem! We got the Premium Chirashi Don made to order, brought it back to our hotel, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The ingredients are so fresh and flavourful, it was surprisingly very reasonably priced. We can’t get fresh and high quality sashimi for this price (25) back in Toronto, we will definitely be coming back the next time we are in Vancouver. It was one of the best foods we had on our trip. “ Fresh and take out here is better than waterfront sushi restaurant. Ordered premium sushi platter for dinner and wait time was 40 minutes - called in prior to pick up. Ate it about 15 minutes later for commute but was still delicious. Saba, uni, salmon eggs were well prepared and fresh. Premium sushi platter is enough for two, maybe three male adults. Definitely would recommend as a very good sushi take out spot. ”

“ It was my first trip to Vancouver. Before I came here, I looked up Sashimi restaurant on Reddit and I found here. It's a takeout store, and I called in advance to make an order. The store was small, but it was also selling Japanese products inside, and there were pre-made sushi and Sashimi in the fridge. So I bought some additional chirashi sushi, too. The staff was very busy, but they were nice and affordable. I brought them back to the hotel, put them in the fridge, and ate them an hour later, but they were still delicious. The mackerel didn't smell fishy either. This is very important.I recommended it to my friends. I will definitely order again when I get back to Vancouver. ”
